I have been checking out male fashion trends for 2022
Like women most/nearly all men are very fashion conscious these day and like to keep in with current trends is now a must and looking good and in trend comes hand in hand. This year you will see the following trends and garments, let’s begin on the catwalks and in the high street you will see a lot of floral patterns not every fellas cup of tea but it is worth giving it a go you will find subtle paisley shirts and then louder patterns on shirts and shorts.
The tailored look is still going strong and men’s casual blazers are going to be in all the shops from Top designer brand like Hugo Boss, D&G, Armani to high street fashion shops like Topman, River Island and Burtons – colours to look out for in the blazer are Grey, Mauve and blue. Also the bomber style leather jacket is still very much bang on trend. These jackets finish a casual jeans and hooded jumper outfit giving you that edgy fashionable look.
Other catwalk trends which I will skirt around were short styles t-shirts, perfect if you have the perfect body to show off but I cannot really see these catching on it seems like some men’s catwalk fashion is trying to be really feminine, I have no problem with it but it is not really something I would go for but I suppose everyone is different!! I am all for the paisley shirts and have quite a few pink Ralph polos but I will draw the line at short t-shirts showing off your belly???
Man bags seem to have gained momentum in all shapes, styles and sizes from the satchel look to the oversized bag..Still in it looks like the check shirt (large check) with turn up arm sleeves these were everywhere last year and it looks like this trend is here to stay a little longer get the look – Blue checked shirt with a beige pair of smart multi pocket shorts with a nice all white pair of trainers or flip flops.

Not only do these look great with their smart yet casual look but they are comfortable & breathable and ideal for most types of weather. So are you wondering what you can wear deck shoes with? The current trends are large pocket shorts with a Ralph Lauren or Lacoste polo shirt a superb summer outfit or if you are really into your trends then why not try a pair of deck shoes with denim shorts, white t shirt and a denim style shirt?? Many stars have taken to this trend and given it their own unique twist and every outfit I have seen these deck shoes with looks great – they just do not look odd or out of place they are extremely versatile! One tip would be unless you are going for the “preppy” look then deck shoes are best work without socks.
